Arab and Israel conflict

Arab- Israeli conflict is among the large-scale conflicts which more than 60 years last. Between Israel and other Arab states there were political, religious, economic and also military contradictions. Actions happened in the Middle East.

Defining the different reasons of this conflict, nevertheless we can say that it more territorial conflict. As, the Palestinian Arabs and Jews applied for the same earth. And existence of two states hostile each other, with different religious and cultural interests, with not a clear boundary was impossible. Thereby, I initiated the regional conflict, with several stages of its development. The first stage, I burst after Israel gained the independence. Armed the five of the Arab countries, started applying for the southern and east parts of Palestine occupied some territories of Jerusalem. Actively holding negotiations, I ended with reconciliation, and fixed temporary border.

The second stage began seven years when Israel entered the armies to the Sinai Peninsula later.

And having taken the Gaza Strip, and through the Sinai Peninsula came to the Suez Canal. Here already involved UN armies. And the Israeli armed forces left Sinai and gas sectors.

The third stage of war was known, as six-day. During these days, Israel attacked Egyptian military and air forces, and established there the hegemony. Arabs lost many of the territories, as East Jerusalem; gas Sectors, Sinai, western river banks of Jordan and many others. At the end UN forces on peacekeeping, between two contradictory armies were developed. Also signed the peace treaty in which Israel returned Egypt won lands.

After the USSR broke up and the world lost the bipolarity, there were some changes. The situation of the Arab-Israeli conflict left from under control. Major factors of the conflict were, the Status of Jerusalem, the Palestinian refugees, the Israeli settlements, well and of course borders. They couldn't settle these problems, and the situation became aggravated even more. The parties demanded impossible conditions. That not on one of these controversial issues between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs it is still not reached consent.

Of course, conferences, negotiations in attempt to resolve a situation were repeatedly held. The first of them passed at the initiative of the USA and the USSR. That had favorable results when Israel won parliamentary elections and put forward idea of the world with Arabs. But it lasted not for long, in connection with Yitzhak Rabin's murder at parliamentary elections, the people of Israel began construction of the Jewish quarter in East Jerusalem, and it preceded numerous acts of terrorism from Arabs. And here thus the peace period was finished. 

To sum up my essay, I want to say, that the Arab-Israeli conflict lasts quite long time. But despite it, many actions for the solution of the most painful questions of this conflict are taken today. And Palestinians, as Jews despite volume disputes between them, are ready to make concessions. That gives, though small, hope on their the fastest reconciliations.
