    If you want to live in the spacious room with the TV, a separate bathroom and all household conveniences — go to the USA. There in a family it is, as a rule, much better than a condition of accommodation, than in Great Britain. One our student in general was lucky — owners were away on vacation and left in his full order for a month the whole mansion. And here England — the country small, and it isn't necessary to count on special luxury.

     Real English breakfast

     Don't count on that you receive "the real English breakfast". That Full English Breakfast — this huge number of food on a huge plate is called: fried bacon, fried eggs, beans, mushrooms and is a lot of that else. Usually average British have the European breakfast, or as they call it, "continental" — flakes or muesli with milk, tea (coffee), toasts with fruit jelly.

     The student can order and accommodation with a half board, that is a breakfast and a dinner. The dinner in a family will manage cheaper, than in the British public catering, and will well feed. As a matter of fact, a dinner it only on time, and according to the name (dinner) and in fact it more likely a dinner. Of course, it is necessary to forget about soup, but other food — meat or fish (main course) plus various garnishes — will be quite enough.

 

 

 

 

      In lunch time British haven't dinner, and “breakfast" as to call a lunch a dinner language won't turn. Quite really to see in the center of London such, for example, the picture: in lunch time the gentleman in a suit, but barefoot, sits on a grass and eats brought in plastic "to a box for a lunch" (lunchbox) sandwiches. Similar it for a dinner? From our point of view – hardly.

      If you paid "full board" (fullboard), into such box to you since morning and will pack sandwiches, apple, tomato, yogurt — to put it briefly, a lunch. You will need to buy only coffee or "Coca-Cola" and to eat all this after classes in any place which has attracted to you.

      At some schools, however, there are dining rooms and cafeterias where it is possible to receive not only packed lunch, but also normal hot food.

 

      And to talk? .

      Duty of polite English owners — to greet you with with a smile, to lodge, show where that lies, to explain how it is more convenient to reach school, to talk in the first evening about weather and policy. Further — as will carry. Owners, in principle, aren't obliged to entertain you. If you find common interests, you will communicate. If isn't present — having exchanged stock phrases, you will watch TV together in a drawing room. Will impose the society to you nobody. You can do that you want — to sit in the room and to study English. Or to have a good time in the city and to come home only to spend the night. It already your private matter. Though, happens, very sociable owners come across also.

      If you want luxury of the real human communication, with conversations "heart-to-heart" behind a glass of beer in a pub or in the evening in kitchen, go to study English to Ireland. Certainly, too it is impossible to become the Irish, but it is possible to become the friend of the Irish. Here in Ireland you shouldn't be surprised if you invite to a family holiday to neighbors or will arrange you an excursion trip by the car on Sunday.
