Great Britain is situated on the British Isles. The official name of the country is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It consists of four countries. They are England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. England, Scotland and Wales occupy the territory of Great Britain. Northern Ireland is situated in the northern part of Ireland.
