Цель данной работы – исследование фразеологизмов, содержащих названия животных, и анализ их синтаксических структур. Для достижения поставленной цели необходимо выполнить следующие задачи: - рассмотреть определения фразеологии и фразеологизма и их основные признаки; - проанализировать виды фразеологических единиц и точки зрения разных российских и зарубежных ученых; - рассмотреть типы фразеологических единиц, содержащих названия животных; - узнать, какие виды животных наиболее употребительны в английских фразеологизмах и в каких конструкциях используются чаще всего; - рассмотреть синтаксические структуры идиом, содержащих названия животных.
